We stand behind the quality of our work and want you to feel confident in your newly refinished surface. With proper care and maintenance, a professionally refinished surface can provide years of beautiful use.
Warranty Coverage By Service Type
If you experience a covered issue resulting from a material or application defect, please contact us. We will inspect the affected area and, when covered under the warranty, gladly make the necessary repair.
Residential Warranty
Refinishing services performed in a personal residence include an 8-year limited warranty against peeling or bubbling caused by a defect in our refinishing materials or application.
Rental Properties & Repairs
Because rental properties typically experience heavier use and different maintenance conditions, refinished surfaces in rental properties include a 2-year limited warranty.
Individual Repairs
Individual repair work includes a 1-year limited warranty on the repaired area.
What Is Not Covered
A refinished surface should be cared for much like the painted finish on a vehicle. It is durable and designed for everyday use, but it is not scratch-proof or impact-proof. The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Normal wear, misuse, accidents, improper cleaning, or outside conditions
- Chips, scratches, stains, or rust spots
- Impact damage caused by people or objects
- Plumbing problems or other circumstances unrelated to the refinishing materials or application
Kitchen Sinks
We do not offer a warranty on refinished kitchen sinks.
Kitchen sinks are exposed to unusually heavy use, including pots, pans, knives, utensils, and other hard or sharp objects. These items can strike, scratch, or chip a refinished surface. Because this type of impact damage cannot be controlled by the refinishing process, kitchen sink refinishing is not covered by our warranty.
What Can Void Your Warranty
To keep your warranty valid and protect the life of your refinished surface, proper care is important. Warranty coverage may be voided by:
Abrasive or harsh cleaners
Do not use abrasive powders, scouring pads, harsh chemicals, or other products that can damage the finish.
Suction-cup bath mats
Mats with suction cups can pull against the coating and may cause premature damage or peeling.
Unrepaired plumbing leaks
Constant dripping or leaking fixtures can eventually damage a refinished surface.
Impact or misuse
Dropping heavy or sharp objects, scratching the surface, or using the tub or shower for purposes it was not designed for can damage the finish.
Failure to report damage
Chips, cracks, leaks, or other damage should be addressed promptly.
A Small Issue Can Become A Larger Problem
If you notice a chip, leak, or other damage, contact us as soon as possible. A small issue can sometimes become a much larger problem when left untreated. Failure to repair a plumbing leak or promptly report existing chips or damage may void warranty coverage for additional damage that develops as a result of the original problem.
